I guess that the first question is does anyone care? We will see. I saw that a old friend of mine was doing this and I found it interesting! Let me know your thoughts. Here goes nothing!!
This week has been a fairly easy week! We came home from Dothan on Monday. We had a good trip. We normally have a good time when we go to Dothan as we did this time. When we got home my mom picked the kids up (they live in Clanton now....about 30 minutes from us!) and they stayed with them until Wednesday evening. Todd and I went to the river with some of our best friends and had a great time, even though the charcoal would not light!
The kids had a great time at Mom and Dad's. I think that they said they stayed in the pool the entire time! They were burnt when they got home, but we have been putting on aloe! Zachary is already turning brown-the little stinker! I would just peel and still be white. They love going to stay with Nanny and Grandaddy!
Yesterday, we tried to start our summer schedule. After breakfast, Morgan worked on some school work. (For those of you who do not know we are homeschooling our 11 year old, fifth grader. We withdrew her from public school in Feb. and started fifth grade over.) I had Zach and Savannah each read a book to me! After that we went with some friends down to the creek, since it is shady down there. The kids got bored easy since it was so shallow so we took them to the indoor pool at the YMCA. I did not want them to get more sun on top of the sunburn.
Zachary also had his baseball party last night. He played catcher this season and really seemed to have a good time. He made so new friends that I am sure he will play ball with next year.
Well, it is finally Friday and that means Todd will be home early! It does not mean rest though! We have a lot of outside work to do around the house so we will have a busy weekend! I guess that I will post a new blog on Saturday or Monday. We will see how this goes!
