Thoughts and Updates!!

Once a month Todd's parents get the kids for the weekend! I look forward to this time every month. While it is not that I don't love my kids, but I really look forward to spending quite time with Todd. It is nice for us to be together and not be Mommy and Daddy. On Saturday, we spent the day at home and watched football. Todd grilled hamburgers for us and we had a nice afternoon at home.

On Saturday night we went to this place in Thorsby called Halloween on the Farm. We went with out normal partners in crime, Ben and Alicia. They had planned to take their youth group. We all loaded, and I mean loaded, our van and headed to the Farm. They had a "haunted house" type thing. It was not really very scary. It was just pitch black with stairs and tunnels. I have figured out after being told a hundred times not to act scared. As hard as that is I just tried to laugh! After the haunted house we went to the corn maze! That was really fun with about 9 people trying to find their way with a flashlight that is going dead and 3 men out in the corn field trying to scare us. We had a really fun time. It was a nice, but weird getaway!!

I enjoy the time when we can reconnect! Morgan came home sick. She has been throwing up since last night! I hope that no one else gets sick! I am sure that it is a stomach virus that she probably picked up at school. While the kids were in Dothan they went to the Peanut Festival. Those two words bring back a lot of memories!! They had a great time.

Well, I had to work Friday for Zach's teacher. Friday was Halloween. Halloween meant parties! Parties mean headaches. I was so tired by the time I got home. I had an awful headache! The good thing was I was subbing for Zach's teacher, so I still got to go to his party! I am subbing for first grade again tomorrow.....Yeah Me!! Well, the next few weeks are going to busy for me. I need to work as much as possible and I have three papers due over the next three weeks, plus a midterm and soon finals!

Please keep our family in your prayers as we go through our journey of life!
